With 9 mixtapes in catalog since 2012, Al Rocco releases his first original single #AllOnMe exclusively on iTunes this March 25th. Bilingual in English and Chinese, featuring Blow Fever and produced by Chace, the official music video will premier this April on #TheNextUnicorn. (An international TV show about start up companies competing with each other to be "the next Unicorn” meaning reaching the hundred million dollar status.)
Best known from his hit single “Red Money”, Al Rocco is more than just your typical Chinese rapper. Originating from the far east islands of Hong Kong, tailored in UK London and LA California, Rocco currently resides in Shanghai where he continues to explore, engage and electrify the local Chinese hip-hop movement to an international level. With fundamentals rooted in trap, hip-hop, rap and r&b, Al has been pushing a hybrid sound surrounding genre hopping instrumentals while leading lights in the nascent online production boom.
With over a million "over-all" plays towards the end of 2015, two of his latest projects “Raised in China" & "Red Money” have been nominated top 50 albums of China by That’s Shanghai & Smart Shanghai. He was ranked top 2 artist nationwide China on the Hip-Hop charts with his single “Red Money” ranking number one on China’s Spotify and Soundcloud, Xiami, in January 2015.
